Artist Statement:
"Here's a collection of work done during the pandemic. With my live music largely shut down, I devoted more time and energy to my other passion than ever before. I worked from life, worked from photos, worked in color pencil, worked in oil pastel. Almost all of them are about being outside in the beauty of nature. Covid might've stopped the music, but the art kept going!"
Artist Bio:
Born and raised in the Great Lakes State of Michigan. Victor finished his arts education at Kendall College in Grand Rapids, and then worked as a courtroom sketch artist for CBS. Since then, he has done countless exhibits and won numerous awards. He works from life and from original photos by his partner, Mizz Deniz Hromek. He uses primarily color pencils or oil pastels to do scenes of people, places and things.
A virtual tour will be available on the gallery’s page.
