Serious Moonlight - Artwork by Angela Cook (exhibit extended until Nov. 2, 2021)
Artist Statement:
As many of you know, having a pet is a truly magical experience. They bring innocence, joy, and wonder. I am dedicating this exhibit called "Serious Moonlight" to my longtime companion Lucas aka "my cow cat". He was my sidekick from 8 weeks old to 11 years old. Overlooking every art piece I made with his antics beside me, he gave me unconditional support to express freely, hurt experienced from other humans. He recently passed July 29th peacefully at home after a medical condition he battled. During 2020 he sat beside me as always creating collaboratively these paintings in this series. I utilized that time to keep focus on showing art again and not forgetting why my career began 12 years prior. Unknowing how the pandemic would effect our futures I sank into the comfort Lucas and I shared and paints and gluing was the deal outlet. Hope you enjoy these and if you look close may see pieces of fur. In your honor my sweetest Lucas.
Preserved Memories - Photography by Josh Lasky (exhibit on display)
Artist Statement:
What is my purpose with photography? Truthfully I can say that I don't know. What I do know is that I started photography because of my children and I will forever document them until I can no longer. They are my muses, a constant source of inspiration even when my inspiration has run dry. They are patient with me, allowing me to create art of my greatest accomplishments. The work I'm showing is not just mine, but it is ours as a family. A collaboration of a years worth of working together to create a constant memory we can look back on. The flash pops and a gaze not noticed at full speed is forever frozen in time for us to always hold onto. The days will pass and we will grow old, but we will always be able to travel back. My photography is dedicated to them, I hope to capture as much as I can in my lifetime.

VIVIVA By Rick Iacovelli Watercolor/Ink on Rice Paper
Artist Statement:
Viviva Colorsheets are revolutionary watercolor in the form of a booklet. They are handmade in Nanshik, India, baked in the sun and designed to paint anytime, anywhere. The super vibrant colors are long lasting and made from premium dyes. Applying Viviva watercolors and ink to rice paper forces me to let go of rigid edges and allows a little more randomness to take over.

… The Art Kept Going - By Victor Lay
Artist Statement:
"Here's a collection of work done during the pandemic. With my live music largely shut down, I devoted more time and energy to my other passion than ever before. I worked from life, worked from photos, worked in color pencil, worked in oil pastel. Almost all of them are about being outside in the beauty of nature. Covid might've stopped the music, but the art kept going!"
Epiphanies of the Mind’s Eye - By Jerry Macdonell
Artist Statement:
Since I was a teenager I have been drawn to cerebral experiences; visuals that take me to other places. I have been intrigued with the idea of dimensional space and the probability that our universe and everything in it is likely to be another layer in a far bigger pattern and if we only had the ability to discern our three dimensional space from another “angle” as we ride through the fourth dimension of time that a whole new reality would become obvious to us. My abstract and surreal works have always tried to express that while being locked into our limited perceptions since the mind is capable of accepting more than our senses perceive.
Float With Us - Photography by Brett Daniels
Artist Statement:
My art is something of an expression of my inner self. Dealing with severe addiction in the past I often look into the mirror and I know that there is that dark part of me that is buried inside just waiting to bubble up over the surface. Yet, from the outside people see a brighter side of me without knowing what is just beneath the surface. This can often be seen in my work: some images are bright and more dream-like in essence and yet, there are others that reflect those inner demons that I hold at bay. There is always darkness in the back of my head and I guess the best way to let that out and give it a voice is to express it through my art. I often get inspiration from my dreams, as cliche as that sounds, but when that happens the only thing left is to figure out how to turn those dreams into photography that reflects them.
Alone, Together - A Documentary Photography Project
Alone, Together is a collaboration between the Memory Maker Project and Binghamton University Harpur Fellow, Hadar Arens. The inspiration for this documentary photography project was born from the isolation that aging adults face due to Covid-19.
The Memory Maker Project is an art, culture and advocacy program for aging adults, people living with memory loss, and their loved ones in the Southern Tier. The pandemic revealed many things to us, including how fragile memory and community truly are. While Memory Maker has served people living with memory loss since 2015, we quickly broadened our mission in March of 2020 to include all aging adults, recognizing the connection between social interaction and brain health.
Then vs. Now - Photography by Liam Axton
Artist Statement:
For the past eight years I have been on a journey of self healing. After being raped in 2013 my life took a downward spiral. I resorted to alcohol and drugs to try and escape from the nightmares and constant flashbacks of what had happened. Things just kept getting harder as I became more intoxicated. I was rarely sober, and when I was it wouldn’t last very long. After a long time I decided to get help. My professors at the time told me that working on a project about what happened to me could help me in the healing process. And it definitely has. Over the course of the last few years I have healed tremendously. My journey isn’t over yet, but I have come a long way from all of the self hatred that I had towards myself. This project is about my journey from self hatred to self love and forgiveness.
AM I AN ARTIST: My Quarantine Thoughts - Photography by Josh Lasky
Artist Statement:
My flaws as a photographer show in my work. They are a fingerprint to my identity as an artist. I try not to hide those flaws because I'm not perfect. Life is not perfect.
Often I struggle to answer the question, Am I an Artist? Our world had stopped when Covid hit, silencing much of my everyday routines. Life slowed down, giving me time to focus on a path to find the answer, although it's a path riddled with insecurities and uncertainty. I have created many failures, but those failures are stepping-stones laid out for the trail on my journey of calling myself an artist. One day I will find what I'm looking for, but for now I'll continue to struggle looking for the answer.

Pour Your Heart Out - Acrylic Art by Brianne Holpert
Artist Statement:
Brianne's entire life she felt as though life is color. Out of the darkness of the pandemic, Brianne discovered she could put life's color on a canvas. Exploring relationships of shapes, darkness, and light Brianne's work has evolved into an emotional release and a journey of self discovery. The vast blankness of a canvas presents Brianne an opportunity for another self realization and another chance to find beauty from the darkness. Brianne continues creating new work in her quest to understand the colors of her life and the world becomes more beautiful for it.
The Whitmans Create - The Art of Rebecca & Stephen Whitman W/Guest Artist Alex Peck
Artist Statement:
Art... is a true expression that comes from that beautiful inner place where the only true expression of ones-self exists. Being an artist allows us to meet and love ourselves on a level that is uniquely personal to ourselves and to share a bit of our divine soul with the world; to share our love and our vision through our unique creative expression.
Wallace Nutting A Retrospective (Early 20th Century Hand Colored Photographs)
Wallace Nutting was a U.S. minister, photographer, artist, and antiquarian, who is most famous for his landscape photos of New England. He also was an accomplished author, lecturer, furniture maker, antiques expert and collector. His atmospheric photographs helped spur the Colonial Revival style.
Cat Chapel - The Art of Phoenix Thunder Lee Kacyvenski
The imagery in these pieces show the experiences that I have learned from, and unanswered questions I have about society and the people of my generation. The extensive process that these works were created from ends in every detail being precisely placed, which results in my own style.
Against the Dying of Light - Cyanotypes by Margaret Winchell
Margaret Winchell is a photographer whose work embodies the feeling of isolation through many different fields of photography. With the focus of her studies being in alternative processing, she specializes in Cyanotypes, and capturing the movement of a form within them.
