Artist Statement:
Sacred Shapes can be seen on a macro and micro level in everything unlimited that we see, touch, or even simply feel. Music, colors, and sounds of nature as well as human and animal cells to trees and flowers and depictions even in tattoos. Sacred geometry is the blueprint of creation. It is an ancient science that explores and explains the energy patterns that create and unify all things. We gravitate to designs that enchant us. I chose to also use different canvas shapes to further express the unlimited possibilities within my own art. Triangles in sacred geometry are thought to symbolize balance and harmony much like mind, body, and spirit. Circles are no beginning and no end and represent a never ending loop, symbol of oneness. Primary colors red, green, and blue create all colors we see. The main seven chakras are so important and I had a blast customizing each of them adorned with accompanying crystals. All of these are new pieces designed for this multilayered exhibit.
