Artist Statement:
Cornelius Nixon (my mom calls me Neal) from New London Connecticut finding my way into the world; Working my way forward to this exhibit. I understand that sometimes it may not be the answers that you are looking for. Sometimes it's the question. So when we are looking at it we can ask ourselves how I feel about what I'm seeing once we transcend into the open-mindedness of its friction. Its origin almost becomes insignificant, next to the thoughts and places that it can take you because we can now be capable of listening to it in the silence of color.
