the Bundy Museum Annex!
The 1st WordPlace Poetry Open Mic at the Bundy Museum Annex is happening Thursday Dec. 1st, 2022.
with special guest Kayla Volpe
from 8pm to 11pm
sign up starts at 7:30pm
5-7 minutes of spoken word per person
Open mics and spoken word events are hosted by J. Barrett Wolf, Bundy Museum Poet in Residence and Director of WordPlace.
To christen our new weekly event we are honored to feature the person who ran the open mic at the Belmar for many years and kicks arse in the poetry scene on a regular basis, Kayla Volpe, back in town for this special event.
The Annex now features a café with food and coffee, and the museum offers Beer and wine at our shows.
Come on down and enjoy quality spoken word, some good food and an adult beverage.
We will be having spoken word events regularly. In the offing for 2023 are The US Beat Poet Laureate, John Burroughs, Poet Sean Thomas Dougherty, Author and documentarian Everett De Morier and there will be more added to the schedule.
