“Save the Bundy” Fundraiser Overview
Due to a devastating loss suffered by one of our major funders, the future of The Bundy Museum of History and Art is in a difficult and uncertain place. We are kicking off a new capital campaign to ensure we can continue to serve the local arts and culture community, and to this end, we are holding a major fundraiser on Saturday, December 2nd, on the Bundy Museum campus.
This day-long event will feature live music by local bands, starting at noon and running through the evening, as well as an art sale, raffle baskets, and food. We hope you can join us in making this event a success and paving a way forward for The Bundy Museum of History and Art.
There are many ways people interested in helping out can get involved, including volunteering to help run the event, donating goods and raffle baskets, participating in our burlap coffee bag project, and donating art to sell in our December gallery. If you are interested, please feel free to get in touch! Send us an email at info@bundymuseum.org or call us at (607) 772- 9179. And above all, please stop by the fundraiser on December 2nd to enjoy the shows and have some fun!

Burlap Coffee Bag Fundraiser
The fundraiser will feature a silent auction of projects created with burlap coffee bags, provided by Laveggio Roasteria. Artists and crafters interested in participating can buy a bag for $6 in the Bundy Museum Annex, create a work of art or a functional item with it, and then donate it to the museum. On First Friday and the December 2nd fundraiser, the donated projects will be on display in the Harlow Bundy house, and guests can bid on them throughout the month of December.
Art Sale
As part of our participation in the Binghamton Art Walk, we will be opening a special gallery on First Friday, December 1st, with pieces donated by local artists and friends of the museum. The gallery will remain open through the month of December, and proceeds from art sales will benefit the Museum.
Artists interested in participating can bring art they are willing to donate to The Bundy Museum visitor center at 133 Main Street. We will have them fill out a form giving the titles, mediums, and suggested prices of the pieces they are donating.
Raffle Baskets
We are asking local businesses to donate raffle baskets, which will be featured at the December 2nd fundraiser. The baskets will be arranged under the awning outside the Annex Theater, and guests can pay to have their name entered to win individual baskets. We will also have a 50/50 raffle, where half of the proceeds go to the Museum and the other half will go to the winner of the raffle.
If you have any questions or need more information, please contact us at info@bundymuseum.org or by phone at (607) 772-9179.
