Artist Bio:

Sullivan J. Harris is a multidisciplinary artist working in the fields of photography, videography, graphic design, and pretty much everything in between. They make music under the name No More Bands!

Artist Statement:

A year ago, Creatives Rebuild New York offered me the opportunity to work at The Bundy Museum of History & Art as a full time artist, affording me unprecedented time and freedom to hone my craft as a photographer, videographer, and illustrator, all while discover my voice as a musician. Through this collaboration, I have experimented in mediums I have never had the time to touch, finished projects that have been sitting on the shelf for years, and started new projects I hope to continue for the foreseeable future.

As part of this collaboration, I have spent countless hours in the Bundy Museum Annex, photographing, filming, and getting to know many of the talented musicians and artists in the Binghamton music scene and beyond. It’s here that my interest in local music expanded into a love and admiration I felt compelled to document. This gallery includes a small number of the hundreds of photos I have taken over the course of the past year in the annex, highlighting the energy and passion that courses through every show that comes through the space.

The gallery also includes a display of the dozen or so sets I filmed in the annex between October 2023 and June 2024, paintings and zines inspired by local the scene, and other bits and bobs from my time working as an artist at the Bundy.

Scattered throughout the gallery are pieces from various other artists I have had the honor to meet and work with over the past year.

Support local music. Start a band. Make music in your bedroom. Find your community.
